We’re excited to announce that the work for our client, a private nonprofit, won a silver award at the 2020 Horizon Interactive Award competition. This competition recognizes the best websites, videos, online advertising, print media, and mobile applications from around the world. The competition’s panel of judges includes diverse industry professionals with multimedia, graphic design, marketing, and advertising backgrounds.
Awarding Some of the Best Work
We helped design a responsive map to act as a visualization tool for the client’s users to research, discover, and implement different equitable and sustainable revitalization programs to use and bring back opportunity and success in their respective cities. The interactive map includes over 95 Legacy Cities and offers users filters and controls to navigate, manage, and manipulate large amounts of data. This program launched successfully in September 2020.
The initiative is part of a national network of community and government leaders who work to create shared prosperity and bring attention to the needs and collective importance of older, historical cities that were once drivers of industry and wealth, but experienced decline in the 20th and 21st centuries from changes in industries and government policies. This map brings awareness to challenges that multiple cities face throughout the United States and provides easy access to strategies and initiatives to policymakers and civic leaders to support the growth and prosperity in these areas.
