Social media might get more attention, but both B2B and B2C firms are using cloud-based sales and marketing tools for more than just direct sales: they’re looking to build bonds with customers long before and after a purchase takes place. For a portfolio of offerings designed to build and strengthen relationships, it’s appropriate that business partnerships help make a leader. This year Gartner has named Oracle as the leader among CRM Lead Management Vendors in its latest Magic Quadrant analysis. According to Gartner, “Oracle is a Leader in this Magic Quadrant, based on Eloqua’s rich lead management feature set, its global and broad ecosystem of partners and digital agencies, and its growing roster of customers.” This strength is clear when companies like Perficient can cite their own customer success stories using solutions from their partner.
Besides this network of alliances, the ability to integrate with other solutions is seen as critical for the digital transformation of marketing, sales, and other departments. “With that whole ecosystem as a key theme in the report, we believe that our philosophy around “openness” will be incredibly important as we move forward. Throughout the customer experience, many pieces of technology operate in the background to make it possible,” stated Oracle strategist Chris Lynch.
In addition, the Gartner evaluation included a number of categories related to the ability to execute and completeness of vision.
