At Perficient, you can rest assured you will always be surrounded by good people. In fact, such helpful, enthusiastic, top-notch people that you might find yourself in the precarious situation of having to put together a Best Places to Work celebration. But fret not, we are here to help.
While we have several accolades pointing to what a great place Perficient is to work, when they happen, we are never unappreciative or take it for granted. We also want to make sure we are celebrating the reasons we are able to win those awards: the People. People are the foundation of Perficient’s employee experience and celebrations are an important part of bonding and growing together.
1. Sweeten the Celebration with Doughnuts and Coffee
When Perficient was named a 2019 Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the office welcomed colleagues to work with an instagram-worthy spread of themed doughnuts complete with hot, fresh coffee.
How to Make Your Own Office Decorations
Make it feel like a celebration! Decorating with streamers, balloons, and bunting are easy ways to make the vibe feel like a celebration. While we were provided some of our decorations, your team could easily make your own bunting by printing out any poster or badge in 30 small pieces about 6 inches tall and taping them to a string. Attach the string over a doorway or frame a desk, like we did in the picture.
Did You Know: Our St. Louis office was also named a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 2015, 2014 and 2013.
2. Class it Up with Champagne and Cupcakes
As Perficient was named a four-time 2019 Best & Brightest Company to Work For, our Chicago colleagues knew just how to do it: Windy City-style!

We are proud to share this award highlights our investment in employee enrichment, and as employees gathered around to cheers with specialty cupcakes and sparkling champagne, that enrichment came in an extra special way.
3. Celebrate in a New Enviroment
Perficient was recently named a Best Place to Work by the Orange County Business Journal and this is a really big deal.
“This is a first for us in Southern California and serves as a testament to our local culture and colleagues, as well as Perficient’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, employee-centered culture where we strive to support and learn from one another,” shared Henry Heisler, California GM.
The Team That Plays Together, Wins Together
To celebrate this award, the Perficient team gathered at a local retro arcade, complete with video games and pinball machines from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s. The crowd favorite was Pac-Man Battle Royale, which featured four players competing head-to-head along with a side of friendly trash talking. Challenges were made and accepted and bragging rights were won, at least until our next visit to the arcade.
No Stranger to the Game Here
Perficient has been named a Top Workplace in additional markets including Denver, Chicago and Minneapolis as well. The St. Louis Business Journal named Perficient a Best Place to Work in 2019 and 2016. In addition, FlexJobs, a job service specializing in remote and flexible job opportunities, named Perficient a Top 100 Company to Watch for Remote Work for the three consecutive years.
Even with these wins under our belt, we are always looking for ways to improve and continue enriching the Perficient employee experience. We annually benchmark our compensation and benefits and launch our own employee engagement survey to hear what our employees want and need. It is through this constant feedback process that we are able to grow, evolve, and provide award-worthy experiences.
