The May 2019 update for Oracle’s EPM Automate utility includes some key features to be aware of…
- Support for Mac OS — The utility can now be installed on Mas OS computers.
- Execute multiple instances from the same directory — The utility now supports executing multiple instances against a cloud environment from the same directory. The utility can also be executed from different directories. Please note that each instance works independently from the other; so logging out of one instance doesn’t result in being logged out of any other instances.
- New ApplicationAdminMode command — Places the application in administration mode, and therefore limiting it to Service Administrators only. Very useful to prevent users from working in and application when administrative operations need to be performed.

The following didn’t make the top 3, but deserves an honorable mention…
- The provisionReportcommand now produces a simplified version — By default, the command generates the simplified version of the Provisioning Report identical to the report that is displayed on the Provisioning Report tab of the Access Control screen. The classic version of the report (lists the component roles that are subsumed into the pre-defined roles to which users are assigned and the application roles assigned to users) can still be obtained, by using the format=classic parameter.
