It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year. No, I’m not talking about the holiday season, I’m talking about SITECORE SYMPOSIUM SEASON (the readers go wild!).
This year, Sitecore is taking the show on the road from Vegas to sunny Orlando, and trust me when I say that the Symposium schedule is jam packed. The agenda features five tracks that span everything from e-commerce to beginner tips and tricks, marketing, development and more!
In addition to having Will Smith Daymond John as a keynote speaker, yours truly will also be making an appearance as a speaker, which I’m pretty sure is the main reason most people are attending… but honestly who knows?
My session is called From Roadmap to Reality: Developing a Manageable Approach to Utilizing Sitecore at Scale. It’s on the Optimization track and features my guest speaker, Craig Burkart, Senior Manager of Interactive Marketing at Ecolab.
Together, Craig and I will be discussing some work that we’ve done to help Ecolab maximize their use of the Sitecore platform. Our goal in the session is to give a first-hand account of the activities and challenges we faced in building the business case to use more of Sitecore’s functionality. We’ll talk about the importance of enabling xDB and takeaways to keep in mind when planning for personalization. With so much great functionality within Sitecore, it can seem overwhelming. Our presentation aims to show people how to make maturing in Sitecore manageable and how to build a phased roadmap that can get you to that holy grail of the 360 degree view of the customer.
So if you’re attending symposium, I would love to see you at our session! You can connect with me and the rest of the Brainjocks, now Perficient, team at Booth #100, we can grab a cup of coffee – whatever works. And If you aren’t registered to attend Symposium, there’s still time! You can register here to get in on all of the action!
