#2. 2017 Digital Transformation Trend: Integration is King

Integration is king; long live integration. In some ways, this may be one of the more obvious trends. If you want to deliver a great customer experience, you have to both know something about this person interacting with you and provide key transaction(s). Both of these elements drive the need for integration.

#3. Disruption in the Travel Industry

First off though, we need to focus on what disruption means. In this case, disruption is a move to digital channels for sales, customer experience, and support. Those who move with the trend, generally do well and even improve profit and market share. Those who don’t, get disrupted.

As everybody is adopting various cloud solutions in some shape or form which may be Public, Private or Hybrid or even changing the architecture or approach to do things (for example microservices), it’s essential that we implement a very high degree of automation. But with a growing number of components and various pieces, it is no longer easy, reliable and feasible to do so.

You can’t create a world class customer experience for every user in every outlet simply by adding more people.  That works for luxury industries like high end jewelry, yachts, and the like.  It doesn’t work for almost everything else.  We need smart assistance to create those experience in a cost efficient manner. It will include many different smart tools.
