As consumers we have very high expectations and want companies to personally tend to the things that are most relevant to us, personalizing unique messaging about products and/or services that are of most interest to us. At NRF’s Retail BIG show this week, a few trends were discussed as the top trends for 2015. Personalization was HIGH on the list! Katie Hull, an inside sales and marketing rep at Perficient, wrote a blog post while attending the show focusing on Personalization and how high of a priority it is to most retailers this upcoming year.
I decided to attend a session on the “new’ Omni-Channel. The message was clear: We consumers, of all ages, expect personalization. We want the retailer to know us before we walk in the door.
When retailers were surveyed about priorities in 2015, personalization is a higher priority than mobile.
