For a company like LinkedIn, data is at the core of their business. Externally, subscribers to their network are constantly seeing content updated by the seconds. But what about internally? Their data teams are non-stop behind the scenes working to keep up with all of this rapidly changing data so when their Financial, Planning, & Analysis (FP&A) team required the ability to integrate multiple versions of changing planning and forecast data with actual financial records, they needed the ability to refresh the enterprise data warehouse without relying on resources outside of the FP&A group.
Partnering with Informatica, Perficient was able to implement Informatica’s ETL solution and design a new data repository for LinkedIn that ultimately resulted in an 86% reduction in data processing time for the FP&A group, cutting time from 5 hours to 40 minutes.
