Perficient announces three consultants named 2014 Sitecore MVPs

Today, Perficient announced that three of our technology consultants were named 2014 Sitecore Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs). The Sitecore MVP program, currently in its eighth year, recognizes individuals who have a passion for building Sitecore solutions and sharing their expertise with the community. Perficient is one Sitecore logo taglineof only five companies with three or more Sitecore Technology MVPs on staff: Parshva Vora, Mark Servais, and Jamie Stump, who was also recognized as a Sitecore MVP in 2013. Sitecore is a global leader in software for managing web content and customer engagement with 8,000 certified developers worldwide.
From the Press Release.

“One of the biggest challenges organizations face today is creating meaningful and relevant connections with their customers. As consumers demand customized content delivered across multiple channels including the web, mobile and social networks, companies must deliver a consistent, seamless experience across all touch points every time,” said Mark Gehman, director of Perficient’s Sitecore practice. “Sitecore has emerged as a leading web content management and customer engagement platform that helps organizations create positive, user-friendly experiences across all channels, better meeting the demands of consumers. Having a team of experienced architects and consultants recognized for their proficiency in Sitecore technology further enhances Perficient’s ability to deliver strategic and valuable results for our clients. I’m extremely proud of the recognition Jamie, Parshva and Mark have received.”
Sitecore is a web content management and customer experience management software company whose product is based on Microsoft’s .NET platform. As a Sitecore Certified Solution Partner, Perficient designs, architects and implements large, public-facing sites powered by Sitecore for enterprises across all industries.
Recently, Perficient’s Sitecore team worked with Lamar Advertising Company, the nation’s leading out-of-home advertising company, to create a fully responsive website that is accessible on any device. By implementing Sitecore’s CMS platform for their new website, Lamar has increased customer awareness, allowing the company to address customer needs on both a local and national level. Lamar also experienced increased conversions; has the ability to reach, engage and educate potential customers about out-of-home advertising; and has reduced time-to-market for new content and communications, enabling continuous improvement of the firm’s website.

This past month, Sitecore also announced its Site of the Year awards for 2013. Among the winners was Perficient client Humana, winning Sitecore Site of the Year North America Best Financial Services and Insurance Site. Perficient’s Sitecore team worked closely with Humana to enhance the customer experience of Humana’s MyHumana Member Portal, as well as the external website Humana.com. As part of Humana’s multiyear Integrated Digital Experience project, the company has also integrated customer acquisition sites within the core Humana.com site, improving the overall user experience and creating a more powerful, consistent brand.
Congratulations to Jamie, Parshva and Mark on being named 2014 Sitecore MVPs! All three recently authored Sitecore guides, which are available to download here.
