Philanthropy-Based Employee Resource Group Enables All Colleague to Give Back in Meaningful Ways
The season of giving is upon us. Today is “Giving Tuesday,” the annual global celebration taking place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving where people around the world unite to give back in whatever ways they can. Perficient and our colleagues have a long and storied history of giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Just last year, our Make a December Difference campaign served as a prime example of the giving nature of our people. Beyond that special campaign, our colleagues consistently contribute their energy to supporting numerous charitable causes and nonprofit organizations, whether by coordinating local vaccine drives, making donations to wonderful causes, volunteering on weekends to teach high school students the fundamentals of AI, and everything in between.

Perficient Launches New ERG Dedicated to Giving Back
We recently formalized our commitment to giving back by launching our second formalized Employee Resource Group (ERG) – Perficient Giving – a colleague-led community dedicated to growing and celebrating colleague and company philanthropy. The Giving ERG seeks to inspire action and generosity while capturing and celebrating the time, talent, and treasure our colleagues and company commit to helping those in need into building a better world.
The Giving ERG is led and executively sponsored by Vice President, Bill Davis, who was also one of the key architects of the Make a December Difference program.
“Perficient’s colleagues have always given selflessly of their time and talent, making our global communities a little brighter each day,” said Bill. “With the Giving ERG, we’re building a community dedicated to growing and celebrating colleague and company philanthropy. I’m excited to see our colleagues come together and to celebrate our global impact.”
The Giving ERG is a community of like-minded, generous colleagues who are passionate about making a positive impact and sharing resources that spread awareness and help others make a difference. Additionally, similar to our Women in Tech ERG, the Giving ERG will routinely host insightful events that educate, enable, and inspire colleagues in ways to give back.
The Giving ERG serves as a reflection of the close relationship Perficient and its colleagues share with local communities, and is a manifestation of values such as innovation, teamwork, and respect for others. All colleagues at Perficient are encouraged to join, attend events, and provide feedback, support, and suggestions. Each of our colleagues will influence the development of the Giving ERG and our overall ERG strategy to help the business, our people, and our communities succeed.
