Precaution and prevention are the two words that surround our thoughts and activities every day during the COVID-19 pandemic. The entire world has been fearful of getting infected with the minacious coronavirus since its emergence in 2020. Mass-immunization against COVID-19 is vital to saving lives during this unprecedented global pandemic. Supported by Perficient leadership, the Nagpur, India office created an initiative to vaccinate their entire team, as well as their family members, to fight the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
Protecting Our Colleagues and Community
Perficient’s COVID-19 vaccination drive took place on Saturday, June 26th at the Perficient Nagpur office. Kingsway Hospital partnered with Perficient and provided an onsite team of doctors and supporting medical staff to administer the vaccinations. Post-vaccination, everyone was kept under careful observation to ensure that they did not have any immediate negative side effects. Perficient followed government-mandated safety protocols by enforcing social distancing, requiring masks, and frequent sanitizing throughout the event. Separate booths were kept for Men and Women.

The immunization event also gave colleagues who joined Perficient during the pandemic, as well as their family members, an opportunity to visit the Nagpur office and experience our unique culture.

Teammates who were unable to attend the first vaccination drive, will have an opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at a follow-up event. Perficient Nagpur looks forward to hosting a second immunization drive so that all our colleagues and their families are protected from the dreaded coronavirus. Getting the COVID-19 vaccine does much more than just protect a single person, it helps in protecting our family, friends, and community.
