Sitecore Symposium is upon us once again. For the second year, it is hosted at the beautiful Disney Swan and Dolphin hotels. Prior to the start of the sessions, Sitecore hosts a welcome reception. It is a nice way to relax from a day of travel or recover from a weekend of visiting local attractions.
Starting Symposium Off Right
The welcome reception is a great way to meet new people, explore vendors, connect with co-workers, and of course, enjoy food and drink. The catering staff served up a wide variety of food. There was a station for cheese and bread, meat and vegetarian empanadas, fried chicken, fish tacos, and my favorite – desserts! There were also plenty of drink stations with choices of beverages.
This Year’s Vendors
Returning to the vendor hall this year is the customize your own Sitecore t-shirt booth. As we have learned before, you better get yours early while the line is short and before they run out of your size shirt! This year, the vendor hall includes a puppy pen where you can de-stress from the convention and play with puppies! I’m more of a cat guy myself though. But they are cute. What’s more, this year’s registration includes some nice swag. A really nice puffer vest and a heavy-duty thermos.
