Oracle Data Integrator Cloud Service

Oracle is aggressively re-engineering all of their popular suite of products over to cloud. Among several cloud offerings that Oracle announced at Oracle OpenWorld 2016 is Oracle Data Integration. Many of you may already be familiar with Oracle Data Integrator. Now, the same product is re-engineered to work in the cloud with several additional capabilities to fully leverage the benefits of the Cloud platform.

With Oracle Data Integration you can easily move data to the Cloud for Data Warehousing and Analytics. The biggest advantage is, it executes data transformation where the data lies without having to copy data unnecessarily over to remote locations.

Oracle Data Integrator Cloud Service delivers high-performance data movement and transformation capabilities with its open and integrated E-LT architecture and provides extensive support for heterogeneous integration:

  • Integrate with Oracle on-premises or in the Cloud with Oracle PaaS as Database Cloud Service or Big Data Cloud Service
  • Integrate with Salesforce, SAP, Amazon’s Redshift, Hadoop, Spark and several others

This provides quicker implementation and superior productivity with a flow-based declarative user interface. The user experience is simple yet powerful enough. It seamlessly reuses mapping logic to speed up the development process.
