Code list maintenance is critical in Oracle’s Argus Safety. These code lists often present as drop-downs in the case entry sub-system. While the entry, modification or removal of these list of value options are very convenient, it does take some effort to ensure the reliable data points that are used everywhere in the system are appropriately added.
In the example below, you’ll notice the code list can be modified easily, but an administrator will need to be familiar with the ICH E2B standard to ensure that new items added to this code list appropriately map to the corresponding E2B value, so that cases using this data can successfully transmit electronic data.
