OBIEE 11.1.1.9: What You Need to Know

3-middlewareOracle BI EE 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.9)

As you might know, Oracle has released OBIEE 11.1.1.9.0.   There are a host of new features that I know some of my clients have been looking for; including the ability to save calculated fields for reuse in other analyses, enhanced export functionality, and Hyperion Planning data source support.  We are installing 11.1.1.9 at one of our clients right now and will let you know our impressions in the next couple of weeks.  The reason we are moving to 11.1.1.9 is due to some important changes to the Certification Matrix.
