Pretty bad and pretty funny. That’s how I’d summarize what the websites looked like for these 13 biopharma, medical device, and research organizations when they first made their mark on the World
Wide Web.
In honor of Throwback Thursday, we used Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine to poke fun at the companies many of us have come to admire over the years for their undeniable efforts to treat medical issues of all kinds.
Some websites were better than others. But, they all shared similar themes: lots of text, hyperlinks, and few graphics. Blah. At least they were all in the same boat!
Just as it’s safe to say we’ve come a long way in the advancements drugs and devices in the last 15+ years, the same can also be said with regards to web design.
