Last week, we hosted a webinar on how Perficient increased website engagement by implementing Sitecore CMS. Erin Moloney, director of digital marketing and social media marketing at Perficient, and Jamie Stump, a Perficient Sitecore practice architect, teamed up to share their experience developing and designing the new Perficient.com on the Sitecore platform.
Erin began by explaining how Perficient first established its goals regarding the corporate website, with the main three goals being to inform, engage, and convert. The redesign goals included an updated look and feel with a CMS that focused on achieving frequency, efficiency, and relevancy.
The UX and design process was intensive, starting with competitive analysis, followed by site architecture exercises, usability testing, multiple prototypes, differential testing, and client feedback. The winning design (what you see as you read this post) has an improved user experience, with a more modern look and feel, and it’s a better representation of the Perficient brand.
If you are wondering how and why Perficient selected Sitecore out of the options, definitely check out the webinar replay, as both Erin and Jamie explore this in detail. Sitecore has proven to be a worthy choice – within a year of the site re-launch, Perficient experienced a 142% increase in traffic to the site, while blog visits have increased 95% and white paper downloads have increased 113%.
The hard work has paid off, as just this week, it was officially announced that the Perficient team won the US Sitecore Partner Site of the Year Award for Perficient.com. Congratulations to everyone involved, including Erin and Jamie! You can read more on the award in the press release, which can be found here.
