I’m going to be making 2 Sitecore appearances this week, one of the real-life type and one of the virtually live type.
First up, I’m excited to be part of a panel of technical experts discussing Sitecore at the Washington DC Users Group meeting for April! The event is Tuesday, April 16th at 6:00PM EST at the American Tap Room in Arlington. I’ll be discussing a cool integration of external e-commerce data with Sitecore DMS that I’m involved with. Afterwards, there will be a question and answer session with the panel that’s going to be moderated by Sitecore’s own Peter Fogelsanger. If you’re in the DC area, come on by and say hello! There’s a separate business track during the meeting as well, so don’t worry if you’re not technical – you can still benefit from coming out. I love talking with the marketers and business users as much as the developers / administrators of Sitecore, so feel free to introduce yourself!
On April 18th at 12PM CDT, I will be joining Perficient’s own Erin Moloney on a webinar discussing how Perficient.com has seen tangible results in engaging our visitors since we redesigned the site and implemented it on the Sitecore platform. Anyone considering a CMS system or just curious as to what capabilities / benefits a CMS system can provide them should certainly plan on attending. I’m really excited to be presenting this because Erin’s put together some great slides showing tangible metrics as to the benefits we’ve seen! We’ll also have time for a short Q&A at the end of our webinar, so for anyone not near DC who’d like to get a Sitecore question answered, the webinar is a great opportunity.
