Windows 7 RC Expiration Approaching

Just a reminder that if you are running Windows 7 RC1 your time is quickly running out. Microsoft posted this to their TechNet Site,

Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. On June 1, 2010 your PC will completely stop functioning.

Unfortunately there is no upgrade path from RC to RTM so you will have to reformat your PC. There have been some performance improvements and UI changes that you will want to take advantage of on RTM as well. I actually am still running RC on my home desktop so am just as guilty… I think I have a project for the weekend though 🙂
