Eight Resources to Help the People in Ukraine Right Now

Ukraine

The eyes of the world are on Ukraine. As the destruction and displacement have unfolded over the past several days, one transcendent theme has emerged: the power of humanity. Across the world, everyday people from all walks of life are committing their time, talent, and treasure to support the people of Ukraine, showing that the actions of one entity are not representative of the collective whole.

Individual acts of humanity have an impact. If you’re looking for ways to help, here are eight organizations that are asking for the public’s assistance.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

The ICRC ensures humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and other situations of violence. The ICRC is helping people affected by the conflict and supporting the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross by providing emergency assistance with food, water, and other essential items. The organization is also supporting hospitals and primary healthcare facilities with medical equipment and emergency preparedness.
