Changes in Adobe Certification Exams

1600x600 Meeting

Recently, Adobe made changes to all certification exams and placed expiration time limits on all certificates. This change is to ensure that Adobe Certified Expert Certification (ACE) status is relevant, valuable, exclusive, and covers the most recent versions of software used in the field.  All Adobe certifications will expire 2 years after their original test date.  To renew, one must pass the latest version of the applicable Adobe certification exam.
However, there is a one year grace period for ACEs if certified on or before June 30, 2018.  Timeline and renewal requirements for exams are listed below.

Date of Certification Renew by Date
On or BEFORE June 30, 2018 June 30, 2020
On or AFTER July 1, 2018 2 years from the date of achievement (date you passed the exam)

Also, Adobe has diversified some certification exams, added some new, and retired a few exams. Certification exam codes, objectives, and eligibility criteria have changed as well. You can get the latest information on exams here. All Adobe exams are reported on a scale of 300 to 700. The passing score for each exam is 550. The certification link provides nice user interface and ability to filter exams based on Industry and role.
