Hyperion Account Reconciliation Cloud Services (ARCS) is the cloud counterpart to Hyperion on-premise Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM). While they share the same purpose, ARCS has additional functionality and has proven to be a flexible tool that can be used with other on premise or cloud-based systems to perform reconciliation activities.
ARCS provides two tools to facilitate a streamlined and more manageable reconciliation process: Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching. Reconciliation Compliance is focused on the reconciliation process, timing, execution and management of the reconciliations. Transaction Matching is a powerful tool that can provide rule based matching of single or multiple large transaction files such as bank statements or intercompany accounts.
These cloud tools work independently, or in tandem, with Oracle-based financial systems. Both tools may be used regardless of software used for the financial close process. Users are able to leverage pre-built dashboards and easy to use tools that provide user security, integration, and reporting of the entire reconciliation process.
I will be presenting on ARCS at Collaborate 2018. As part of the presentation, I will perform a “virtual demo” of the tools, walking the attendees through real-world benefits of the functions and features. Also, I will discuss tactics for implementing ARCS as well as integration options. This session will be “attendee friendly” and will be geared toward all levels of users, administrators and those considering using this tool.
Collaborate is scheduled for April 22 – 26 in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. I am currently scheduled to present on Monday April 23 at 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. in Jasmine C and my session is titled Account Reconciliation Cloud Service – Improve Accuracy and Save Time With This Cloud Application. For those needing CPE credits, you will be granted one credit per 50 minute session.
I hope to see you there and in the interim, let me know if you have any questions!
