According to studies conducted this year by the global technology consulting firm IDC, cloud computing grew seven times faster than any other business technology sector on a global level and it is evident that the future of business is directly tied to cloud computing. For this reason, it is important to delve into this technology which clients of Movistar in Colombia can now enjoy thanks to a new agreement that provides users preferential access packages of the software Loggro.
Loggro is a bet on what will be the future of business management in Colombia. It is a solution developed by Perficient Latin America, a local software engineering company with more than 30 years of experience. Different from other solutions in the cloud, Loggro promises to be easy and intuitive, and also operates in an integrated way with all functions of the business: sales, inventory, accounting (including IFRS: International Financial Reporting Standards), portfolios and management reports, among others. As a tool in the cloud, it gives entrepreneurs direct access to their information 24 hours a day, no matter where they are, becoming a truly reliable business system or modern ERP.
Juan Jose Uribe, Manager of Loggro, said that “The program recognizes the growing importance of cloud technologies to manage competitive businesses of all sizes” and highlights the importance of this alliance with Movistar in the country. “We are happy to see more Colombian entrepreneurs increasingly plug into the cloud each month, recognizing the importance of making decisions based on immediate information on what is occurring in their business,” he concluded.
For its part, Telefónica Movistar announced the incorporation of Loggro, the cloud-based business management solution, to its portfolio of corporate services. The clients of Movistar in Colombia will have access to preferential packages of the software which can be paid for through monthly plans that are consolidated into their service bill.
“This new alliance represents our continued interest in remaining an important factor in the development of the digital ecosystem of Colombian businesses. We bet on the deployment of innovative systems by handing our clients cloud services to accelerate the competitiveness of their businesses,” assured Luis Martin, Director B2B Movistar Colombia.
According to the Colombian Ministry of Information Technology and Communications, in 2015 99% of big companies were connected to the internet, the same for 98% of medium-sized businesses and 92% of small and micro businesses. Having overcome the problem of connectivity, the goal now is to utilize the digital highway to provide value-added solutions to entrepreneurs and business owners.
