The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals recently recognized Perficient Digital with three Hermes Creative Awards. We were awarded one Platinum award in the Mobile Website category for our work with Mohawk Flooring. And two Gold awards – one in the Nonprofit category for The Henry Ford’s website and one in the Microsite category for Carhartt’s Fall 2016 Lookbook.
Our website rebuild for Mohawk Flooring allows customers the ability to search products available “near me,” eliminating the guesswork of finding the right distributor. This required the bridging of data for every product, including color options and retailers, and combining that with geolocation information to produce the list of retailers that had the customer’s desired product in stock. We also incorporated new product views to help customers make an informed decision, integrating an interface that allows users to view samples using a rendered room scene and color swatches.
The Carhartt Lookbook was designed for reporters on a deadline, to make writing about the latest gear easier and less like work. We helped tell the story of this iconic brand, giving reporters the content they needed while providing a rich visual experience, featuring full-bleed ambient video and wall-to-wall photography. This is the fourth award we’ve received for our work on Carhartt’s microsite.
Our redesign of TheHenryFord.org helped blend The Henry Ford’s physical and digital spaces to create a world-class experience. Not inside the museum walls, but for website visitors exploring from afar. We showcased the museum’s 56,000 digitized artifacts and stories as easily searchable artifact cards, helping visitors discover the various immersive stories of culture and innovation. This is also our fourth award for our design and development of The Henry Ford’s website.
