The New Office 365 – Webinar Recap & Replay

Last week, we hosted a webinar on Office 365, where my colleague David Greve discussed what’s new and improved when it comes to the latest release.
During the session, David, a Perficient Office 365 Solutions Delivery Director and Microsoft MVP, first reviewed Microsoft’s productivity vision, showing how you now have the ability to create integrated best-of-breed solutions by combining the best experience across devices and the cloud on your own terms. He also briefly explained what the Office 365 service offering includes:

  • Office Professional Plus
  • SharePoint Online
  • Exchange Online
  • Lync Online
  • Visio Pro
  • Project Online

David went on to talk about the new social features, business intelligence, meetings via Lync Online, and the new Cloud App Model. He also gave attendees details around compliance, including eDiscovery, data loss prevention (DLP), and Excel Inquire. Lastly, he described the various integration options, including hybrid environments.
If you missed the webinar, you can listen to the presentation in its entirety, along with the Q&A portion (where many great questions were asked and answered), here:

If you attended the webinar and want to learn more about Office 365, David recently co-authored a book on the topic, entitled “Microsoft Office 365: Exchange Online Implementation and Migration.” The book provides a hands-on tutorial, showing organizations of all sizes how to implement and migrate to Microsoft Exchange Online in Office 365. You can find the book here.
