Driving patient experiences via Portals & Web Content

Historically, patient engagement has been dangerously low.  However, with the rise in healthcare consumerism, along with Meaningful Use and Accountable Care, it begins to really matter what happens to patients when they are not in the clinical setting. Providers recognize that patients spend well under 1% of their life at healthcare facilities. Yet, it is the other 99+% of their life that determines whether they return to or maintain their health.  Active patients are always better, and engaged patients always do better.  With payments tied to better patient outcomes, helped by the smarter use of collaborative technologies and patient data, forward-thinking healthcare providers can lead with a patient-centric strategy.

Perficient has built a portal leveraging Oracle WebCenter Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, and Oracle Health Exchange along with collaborative and mobile technologies to provide a unique view into an “e-Patient” experience. We are also planning an upcoming webinar to discuss patient uses of the internet, social media and hand held devices to enhance their health and their demands for electronic medical record access, doctor competency scores, hospital infection rates, and more.

Come visit our booth #1555 at HIMSS 2013 to see our demo or join our webinar on April 17th!
