This is the first in a series of visits to Perficient’s many office locations.
Located in Butler Square, Perficient’s Minneapolis office maximizes every last bit of the 10,700-square-foot-space to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration. The environment is one where the ideas are welcomed and encouraged, and employees work hard and play hard.
The office continues to develop new and innovative ways to build a culture based on being a team, from “work in office Fridays” to gathering together and attending off-hours user groups, training and charitable events.
The Minneapolis office is also a host to many other business units within Perficient and includes non-local colleagues in office activities. The office recently held a 5-hole intra-office miniature golf event where many teams participated in a best score and best team name competition.
The Minneapolis team takes great pride in its commitment to building consultant excellence through hosting partners on a monthly basis for training. The office also hosts the Certified Scrum Master training course several times a year for Perficient employees nationally. Pre-set training schedules are provided, and colleagues can also request ad-hoc training or the ability to attend a specific conference.
A new Foosball table has upped the levels of fun and competition in the office and proved a great way to relieve some stress at the end of a busy day. Every Friday, a mobile Tiki Bar, built by colleagues, offers an opportunity to gather with friends at the end of the week.
Outside of the office, the Minneapolis team also enjoys extra-curricular events. Last winter, several colleagues completed a “Polar Plunge” jump into a frozen lake to raise money for the Special Olympics of Minnesota. Several other charitable causes are supported by colleagues, such as Feed My Starving Children and Adopt-a-Family.
Every member of the team has unique skills, talents and abilities, and the collaborative environment encourages and enables success.
