PERFIXION 2025: Powering AI Ideas

The Hyderabad office successfully hosted the first-ever AI-driven Hackathon, Perfixion- 2025, in a historic event that highlights our dedication to innovation and cutting-edge technologies. In addition to showcasing technical prowess, this event served as a strategic exercise in using artificial intelligence to creatively, quickly, and precisely solve real-world business problems.

Laying the Groundwork for Innovation:

The purpose of the hackathon was to inspire employees to investigate the revolutionary possibilities of artificial intelligence and to stimulate grassroots innovation. A strong desire for experimentation and collaboration was confirmed by the enthusiastic response to the initial outreach, which helped gauge interest throughout the office.

Seven multidisciplinary teams comprising developers, analysts, designers, and subject matter experts were carefully formed from the participants. The caliber and applicability of the ensuing concepts were greatly influenced by this diversity of expertise and way of thinking.

The teams were:

  • Autodev Crew
  • Hack to the Future
  • Fantastic 5
  • Bot Builders
  • Maverics
  • Code Catalysts
  • Model Minds

Ideation and Use Case Development:

Following their formation, teams initiated a structured ideation process. Finding AI-powered use cases that could improve customer satisfaction, solve operational inefficiencies, or open up new business opportunities. Dynamic and targeted brainstorming sessions produced a variety of interesting ideas, ranging from generative AI applications to intelligent automation and predictive modeling.

Strategic Review and Panel Engagement:

Over the course of several days, teams dedicated themselves to designing, building, and testing their solutions. The AI-driven nature of the hackathon demanded a high level of technical rigor, ethical consideration, and user-centric design. Participants demonstrated exceptional ownership, agility, and collaboration—working across functions and time zones to bring their ideas to life.

This phase was marked by deep engagement, rapid iteration, and a shared commitment to excellence. It was a vivid reminder of what can be achieved when empowered teams are given the space to innovate.

Demo Day: Final Presentations and Live Showcases

A lively demo day marked the end of Perfixion-2025, during which each team gave the panel a presentation of their completed solutions. Among the distinguished attendees was our Guest AI Director, Mouli Ganapathy, who actively engaged with the teams and observed their final presentations. With great support from our Managing Director, Parvez Maideen, the event was further elevated, reflecting his unwavering commitment and inspiring leadership.

The presentations were impactful, perceptive, and well-done. In addition to technical skill, each demo demonstrated a thorough comprehension of user experience, scalability, and business value. The groups received praise from the panel for their strategic thinking, execution, and inventiveness.

Recognition and Results

The entire Hyderabad office came together to celebrate the accomplishments of all participating teams during the organization’s monthly town hall, which marked the conclusion of the Perfixion-2025 Hackathon.

Although these two teams received high recognition for their outstanding solutions, they weren’t the only ones in the spotlight. Each of the seven teams received exciting prizes and celebrations for their creativity, hard work, and teamwork. This inclusive gesture was intended to support our conviction that innovation flourishes when everyone contributes and to inspire further contribution.

As a thoughtful gesture our esteemed Director, Raghuraman Ramdoss honoured the winner and runner-up teams’ creativity and commitment throughout the hackathon by giving them exclusive swag as well.

Reflections and the Road Ahead:

More than just a competition, the Perfixion-2025 Hackathon was a strategic investment in our future, our culture, and our people. It illustrated the potential of AI when used strategically and the remarkable results that emerge when individuals are given the freedom to think creatively and build without fear.

The Hyderabad office has set a new benchmark for innovation within the organization. Initiatives like Perfixion-2025 will remain crucial in determining our innovation agenda, enhancing our AI capabilities, and propelling enterprise-wide change as we look to the future.
