Why This Matters

In 2023, Oracle introduced Forms 2.0 and Dashboards 2.0 as enhanced successors to their legacy counterparts. Since then, Oracle has delivered continuous improvements based on global user feedback, resulting in widespread adoption of the 2.0 versions.

To streamline the platform and focus on innovation, Oracle will officially de-support Forms 1.0 and Dashboards 1.0 in October 2025.

Key Changes Coming in October 2025

Forms 1.0 and Dashboards 1.0

  • De-support Date: October 2025 (25.10 release)
  • Impact: No further bug fixes or enhancements for 1.0 versions.
  • New Environments: Will only support Forms 2.0 and Dashboards 2.0.
  • Application Settings: The option to revert to 1.0 will be removed for all new environments.
  • Task Manager: Will continue to display standalone Forms using 1.0, but Dashboards will use 2.0 if configured.

Legacy Listing Pages

  • New Listing Pages were introduced in release 25.02.
  • From October 2025, all environments will default to the new version.
  • The “Legacy List Page” toggle in Application Settings will be disabled.

Oracle encourages customers to submit enhancement ideas for the new pages via Customer Connect Idea Labs.

Infolets

  • Creation of new Infolets will be disabled.
  • Default Home Page Dot functionality for Infolets will be removed.
