Definition and Scope:

    • Customizable Gestures: These are gesture-based controls—such as swiping, pinching, tapping, or rotating—that can be adjusted or reconfigured according to the user’s physical abilities and preferences.
    • Application in Health Systems: Customizable gestures are particularly relevant in health systems where users may have varying levels of dexterity, mobility, and familiarity with technology. By allowing for customization, health systems can ensure that their interfaces are accessible and easy to use for everyone.

Why Customizable Gestures Matter in Health Systems
