We are ecstatic to announce that two Perficient colleagues have been honored as Optimizely Most Valuable Professionals (OMVP). Huge congratulations to David Lewis and John Dymond!
David and John are two of only eight total individuals selected as OMVPs in 2023. Perficient now boasts six of the 89 total OMVPs worldwide!
Optimizely MVP Program
In 2007, EPiServer (now Optimizely) started a program called the Most Valuable Professionals Program. The program was created to thank active members of the Optimizely community for their valued contributions. Now celebrating 16 years of OMVPs, the program has experienced incredible growth and has welcomed members from over 40 organizations and 15 countries worldwide.
MVPs are nominated by others in the community and are selected based on criteria evaluating the candidate’s engagement in the Optimizely community, their project involvement, and various other factors.
Once chosen as an OMVP, members receive exclusive status with Optimizely and its partners. OMVPs are given additional benefits, such as access to new product features, an audience with Optimizely leadership, and membership-only events and activities.
Our OMVPs
David and John are both Directors of Optimizely here at Perficient. They join an elite circle of current Perficient OMVPs including Daved Artemik, Alex Harris, Ritu Madan, and Naveed Ul-Haq.
David Lewis
David Lewis joined Perficient back in 2011 and has been a valued member of the team for the past 13 years. He offers years of experience and vast Optimizely knowledge to our team and clients.
“Working to help build the Optimizely practice at Perficient has been the most rewarding work I have ever done,” David stated. “We have built a team that constantly delivers value and I am privileged to learn from them every day.”
John Dymond recently celebrated four years with Perficient, joining us back in January of 2019. His knowledge of Optimizely goes back even further as he has been working with the platform for over seven years.

“It may sound cliché but becoming an OMVP is truly a special accomplishment for me,” John said. “It further validates my decision to come to Perficient years ago to focus exclusively on the Optimizely platform. There are a lot of brilliant people in this group and it’s humbling to be recognized as part of the community.”
