We spend the majority of our lives working. To the extent that we can enrich that experience and make our colleagues feel valued and supported is great. I’m passionate about helping to impact, create, and cultivate a strong culture both in our southern California office where I work but also in general at Perficient.
My Most Treasured Moments
I’ve been fortunate to have been a part of building our community. We span all bounds of business units. We are all interwoven. We have all of our culture events together.
I really treasure those experiences where I get to know colleagues from different backgrounds with diverse perspectives on life and life experiences. Perficient is a place that I feel proud to be a part of, and it makes me feel good to see people get that same experience out of being part of our company as well.
My Constant Source of Inspiration
I’ve been really encouraged and engaged by the positive opportunities when someone does a great job on a project or even when it’s someone’s birthday or anniversary. We really come together as a Perficient community in our office and in the broader region in southern California to celebrate those milestones and really show each other that, “As a person, I appreciate you. I’m here. I’m glad you’re part of the team.”
I’ve been exposed to brilliant colleagues while working at Perficient. They teach me things every day. I feel uplifted by that and like I’m growing and learning every day.
My Opportunities for Career Growth
What I like about Perficient is when you lean into opportunities and challenges you’re often rewarded. From a career standpoint, there’s advancement. I feel like being part of a company where one of our main pursuits is growth creates opportunities for people to come work for us, for us to go work with new clients, and for us all to advance in our careers. It’s really important to me.
I don’t want to stagnate as a person nor in my career, and Perficient has certainly offered up a wealth of opportunities in that respect. I really appreciate working here.
