Perficient Digital has earned industry recognition for the second time for the mobile app we created for the Jackson Energy Authority (JEA). Only a few weeks after bringing home the IAC Award for the Best Energy App, the self-service app also earned a Gold Award in the Mobile App category at the annual Hermes Creative Awards.
A regulated utility company serving western Tennessee, JEA provides electric, gas, propane, water, wastewater, and broadband services to its customers. The mobile app we created allows JEA customers to access their account, pay bills, report power outages, and more on their mobile devices, using a sleek, intuitive interface. Dale Justice, Systems Analyst over Management Information Systems at JEA, explained that the app has enabled the company to streamline back-and-forth communication and provide real-time updates to its customers.
“At Jackson Energy Authority, we pride ourselves on providing great customer service,” Justice said. “The development of the JEA mobile app was a great step in keeping with that tradition.”
Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition designed to recognize the creative professionals behind the concept, writing, and design of both traditional and emerging media.
This is not the first time Perficient Digital has been recognized at the Hermes Creative Awards. We also brought home one platinum and two gold awards in 2017, for the work we did for Mohawk Flooring, Carhartt, and The Henry Ford, respectively.
