Modern Marketing Experience – April 25-27, 2017
It’s that time of year again, looking forward to 2017. Get excited, it is going to be a great year!
Oracle has come out with the dates for Modern Marketing Experience, April 25-27 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort. What better place than Las Vegas in April! If you have never gone to a MME, you have to…right now the early bird fee is only $999 (register here), not too bad considering it usually ends up being around $1,700 closer to the date. Hopefully you have the budget to go, the education classes and the speakers are definitely worth the money.
As a great benefit to the Modern Marketing Experience are the Markies! What are the Markies? They truly are Eloqua’s Oscars. Where people, like you, get to ‘show off’ what you have done in the last year. Why should you submit for a Markie, or three? Besides the fact that you worked hard in 2016, you have success in many areas of what marketing managed to accomplish in 2016 why not shout that from the rooftops! It’s a BIG deal, HUGE. It’s isn’t just Eloqua, there are categories that highlight Account Based Marketing and Maximyser as well. What better way to see your successes than to look back at them and recognize all the hard work and effort that went into that marketing campaign and position yourself for a Markie. Did I mention that the same company that makes the Oscars, makes the Markies…hint hint!
It truly is a great time, it is a party atmosphere and to get on stage with Adrian Chang, never a dull moment! I’ve been to several, the first back in 2010. I wasn’t prepared for what was instore and it was held in San Francisco. If you get your submission in and get nominated, you just need to get there!
So how do you go about submitting for a Markie? You fill out the submission form, here is the ‘How to’. The submission needs to be in by January 31, 2017 at 5:00pm EST. Then you wait, finalists will be announced March 1, 2017 and then you get to wait to see if you’ve won till April 26, 2017. Oh! the anticipation!
Are you ready to roll up the sleeves and toot that horn? Show those competitors what great work you did in 2016. Gain recognition for all the hard work that went into making 2016 great.
