As we head towards the end of the year, it’s time to start looking back express our gratitude for all the great things that have happened this year. Among those is that of digital experience and WebSphere portal, which offers organizations the opportunity to create unique customer experiences that drive engagement, revenue, and top-notch customer service.
There’s a lot to be thankful for when it comes to portal technologies. We’ll be thinking about these elements of portal technologies as we head back to our families later this week:
The capabilities of centralized content management, enabling portal managers to create engaging and interactive content.
The availability of search optimization, which means users can always find what they need.
The presence of IBM Connections, a community page offering users to come together and discuss what matters to them most.
Simpler and easier configuration wizards, which means implementing and installing IBM WebSphere Portal is pain free and easier than ever.
The availability of theme optimization analyzers, giving developers the chance to audit the quality of the themes they want to install.
The presence of targeted content, which allows for the targeting of content to users at a specific part of a site. Targeted content keeps specific messaging top-of-mind for visitors.
Easier migration options, meaning the creation of a web portal or community is now a step-by-step process. Now the configuration wizard automatically migrates data, saving hours of time and stress.
And most of all, the opportunity to bring people together. With the customer being at the forefront of all businesses, it’s important to be able to serve them and listen to them while creating the space necessary to create the most authentic messages. With Thanksgiving coming up, this is probably the most important aspect of portal technologies.
