I’m really excited to share that for the second time in three years Perficient has been honored to be named Microsoft’s Healthcare Provider Partner of the Year. From the press release, which can be read here
Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading information technology consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers, today announced it has been named Microsoft’s 2012 Healthcare Provider Partner of the Year. The award recognizes Perficient, one of the top NSI partners in the country, for using Microsoft technology to deliver innovative healthcare solutions. Microsoft made the presentation to Liza Sisler, Perficient’s Microsoft marketing director, and Aaron Sloman, general manager of Perficient’s Microsoft National Business Unit, at its U.S. Public Sector FY13 Kickoff and ISU event, held July 30 through Aug. 2 in Phoenix.
“Perficient combines deep health industry expertise with a high level of competency on Microsoft technologies. The result is a set of high value solutions that deliver value to the world’s leading healthcare enterprises,” said Steve Aylward, general manager, US Health & Life Sciences, Strategies & Solutions, Microsoft. “We are proud to award them Health Provider partner of the year.”
Healthcare organizations are challenged with a rapidly changing industry that requires the adoption of holistic, business-driven technology solutions. The Healthcare Provider Partner of the Year award recognizes Perficient’s consistent work in delivering solutions designed to address these challenges, including healthcare business intelligence and analytics, and portals and collaboration solutions, specifically hospital intranets and patient portals. These solutions enable data sharing between critical systems, collaboration between stakeholders, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. In October 2011, Perficient launched Health BI, an ONC-certified Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence solution built using technologies including SharePoint and SQL Server. Health BI is an extensible solution that addresses Meaningful Use Stage 2 and ACO reporting requirements.
“We are extremely honored to be named the 2012 Healthcare Provider Partner of the Year. This recognition exemplifies Perficient’s core mission of driving measurable results for our healthcare clients,” said Sloman. “Since the beginning, our partnership with Microsoft has been built on trust and a shared vision of success. Perficient prides itself on our ability to leverage our healthcare industry expertise and partner with Microsoft to deliver truly integrated end-to-end solutions for our clients.”
The Perficient team continues to drive innovative solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies including Lync Voice, SharePoint, SQL Server, Office 365, Azure and Dynamics CRM in the Healthcare space. Clients are often excited to learn that they already own the Microsoft technologies necessary to implement solutions such as surgical analytics, patient, physician and employee portals, population management, tele-medicine, chronic condition management, self-service analytics and more. With BAA‘s in place for Azure and Office 365 Microsoft is leading the Healthcare charge to the Cloud, reducing costs and increasing speed to market for new services.
It’s an honor to be recognized by Microsoft for our deep Healthcare expertise, technical acumen and ability to integrate. It’s been a pleasure working with the Microsoft team over the past several years and to develop solutions that address our Healthcare client needs leveraging the Microsoft platform. Perficient was also recently honored by Microsoft as the Cloud Partner of the Year for our Office 365 work in the Northwest and US Country Partner of the Year runner-up.
