JSR 329 is a new standard in the Java community.   Many refer to it as the Portlet 2.0 standard.   It deals with JSR 286 portlets and JSF.  That’s about as technical as I can get these days.  I can post more once I ask a couple of smart programmers the what and why of this.  In the meantime, if you want to know more about it, go to the JSR site.
