MOSS End-User Training

Last night I deployed Microsoft’s End-user Office SharePoint Server 2007 Training. They have two editions, a Standalone and a Portal Edition, I installed the Portal Edition on a test MOSS Server. After some review last night and today I am quite impressed by this product. The product itself was pretty straightforward to install, especially if you have some experience with deploying SharePoint Solution Files. And once setup the look and feel of the site is quite impressive.

There is documentation that comes with the installation files that will get you through the install. Then there is some great supporting information that you could give out to your training lead in which they should be able to get the site running and people training in no time at all.

I know that this is going to be a useful tool for my engagements and will definitely pass this on to my clients. If you have a VM or test MOSS server definitely test this out. I believe you will be just as impressed as I was with the product…. Go Microsoft!
