What has your experience at Perficient taught you?
I have learned that empathetic listening is one of the most important qualities a person can have, both professionally and personally.
What advice would you give to colleagues who are starting their career with Perficient?
I would tell them to stay grounded and have patience. Initially, it can feel overwhelming to find your place and get situated with your team and project. However, once you start getting to know people and become more comfortable and confident with the technology stack, you will find your place. Remember to keep your focus on the goal, remain calm, and always be positive.
Why did you choose Perficient? What keeps you here?
The people! Perficient is a “people company,” and I strongly agree with this sentiment. Wherever in the world a colleague is based, everyone is willing to offer a helping hand.

How would you describe the team dynamic in Nagpur?
Although I work remotely, I feel connected to the team. It is very dynamic and never misses the opportunity to celebrate. We believe in working hard together and celebrating even harder. Independence Day is a very memorable day and colleagues enjoyed feeling patriotic.
What motivates you in your daily work?
My family is my motivation, especially my mother who is an English literature teacher. I am also motivated by the talented team I work with every day. Their enthusiasm and collaboration are contagious!
What are you passionate about outside of work?
I am very passionate about visiting orphanages and old age homes. After my father passed away 10 years ago, I became more empathetic towards people. That experience made me realize that people and my family are the most important aspect of my life. I always encourage people to be grateful for their family and surroundings.
What is one thing you wish your colleagues knew about you?
Something surprising that people may not know about me is that I like to sing. I also grew up in a big, joint Indian family. I love and appreciate the collaboration and teamwork mindset it has instilled in me.
