Describe your role. How do you impact the company’s culture, growth, and clients? What does a typical day or project look like?
I have great experience in maintaining a company’s intranet in various industries like Automotive, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Technology, Legal, etc. I have worked with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms for over 10 years now. For the last two years and eight months, I have been working as technical lead for an Intranet portal for one of Perficient’s largest clients. I lead a team of developers and we design and engineer end-to-end experiences with Modern SharePoint Workspace that help our client succeed with speed and innovation.
According to my teammates, I always ensure excellence in delivery and have great client relationship skills. My clients have often commented on what a pleasure I am to work with.
Why did you choose your career path? How have you grown your career with Perficient?

Working as a SharePoint consultant, I enjoy bridging the gaps in architecture, design, and development of Intranet projects. I am very passionate about solving problems and acting as a communicator and mediator to provide organizational solutions through a cutting-edge understanding of the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms. Each Intranet is different and that motivates me to deliver what the company needs.
I have quickly become a successful blogger after joining Perficient. I enjoy writing about new SharePoint and Microsoft 365 capabilities.

What made you decide to work for Perficient? What makes you stay?
To be honest, when I joined Perficient I didn’t know what to expect. But during my interview process, I noticed that the people who interviewed me were very talented, passionate, and respectful. Over the last 2 years, I have learned that no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe, the Perficient family is very warm, and they are always standing right by you. Perficient values people!! I enjoy working with inspired and like-minded colleagues who take their work seriously and have fun at the same time. Work hard and Party harder!!
What are your proudest accomplishments, personally and professionally? Any milestone moments at Perficient?
My greatest accomplishment is winning over the client’s trust and providing excellent consulting services. I feel like I have learned to leverage the client’s business knowledge and then develop solutions for the client’s organization, allowing the client to benefit from the Microsoft 365 platform.
What has your experience at Perficient taught you? What is something you’ve learned that you want to share/what advice would you give to others?
My experience at Perficient has taught me how to stay committed to excellence. If you want to be the world’s greatest developer/architect/project manager/consultant, you will need to deliver excellence. Commitment to excellence is the first step to continuous improvement. This motto has greatly inspired me in my personal and professional life.

What’s something surprising people might not know about you or your background?
I enjoy traveling with my husband. I love visiting Florida for its beautiful beaches. 3 years ago, I was very uncomfortable around pets as I didn’t have any exposure to pets growing up. But today I can proudly say that I can’t live without my cat, Fez. His companionship is priceless. In my spare time, I enjoy reading detective stories, especially Sherlock Holmes. I love how detective stories are entertaining and also exercise my mind.
What is one way you balance work and home life?
When it’s a nice sunny day, I like to go for a brisk walk in a park or enjoy my audiobook while completing household chores. Making time to enjoy the simple pleasures of life helps me to balance my work and home life.
What else would you like people to know about working at Perficient? Any final thoughts?
I enjoy working at Perficient. It gives me a great deal of pride to work with people who are client-centric and committed to excellence.
