Blockchain is leading many of the most successful companies to an integrated ecosystem with their customers and suppliers to deliver the speed, convenience, trust and transparency demanded by the market. Because Perficient and IBM have seen this impact firsthand, we partnered to bring together 65 of Denver’s supply chain leaders to discuss how process innovation and blockchain technology can transform business operations to meet rising customer demands.
The evening, hosted at the recently opened Blue Moon Brewery in Denver’s historic River North district, was facilitated by presenters Adam Mastrelli, North American Lead of Blockchain Strategy and Ecosystem Development at IBM, Bob Vanek, Director on Perficient’s Management Consulting team, Brian Smith, General Manager of Management Consulting at Perficient, Naveen Sachdeva, Solutions Director of Perficient’s Blockchain practice, and Russell Hargraves, IBM’s Global Industry Blockchain Leader for Healthcare.
The goal of Perficient and IBM’s event was to create a forum where industry leaders could openly discuss the effects of blockchain on their supply chain operations. Thanks for our facilitators, we were able to drive into various scenarios from addressing product integrity issues quickly while avoiding significant operational and financial disruptions to tracking asset lifecycle performance and maintenance to establish value and ensure optimal performance.
