Perficient to Present with Cedars-Sinai and TriHealth at HIMSS17

HIMSS17 is literally right around the corner. In just two days more than 40,000 health IT leaders and enthusiasts will converge on the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando to discuss the latest in healthcare technology and the trends driving change throughout the industry. Perficient will once again be an exhibitor (booth #3831) and a presenter at HIMSS. Our thought leadership presentations this year will be in conjunction with two of our clients: TriHealth and Cedars-Sinai.

Our first session, “Four Pillars of Social Media Governance,” at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time, Feb. 20, in Room 230A, will highlight proper social media governance infrastructure fueled by data insights derived from social media listening at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The multi-specialty academic health science center created a safe environment that fosters interaction and population health education in ways that create positive impacts within the potentially risky environment of healthcare social media. This presentation will be led by Melody Smith Jones, Manager of Connected Health, Perficient and Nelly Jacobo, Director of Digital Strategy, Cedars-Sinai.

Our second session will be a Lunch and Learn session on “Lessons Learned in Applying Cognitive Outcomes,” at 1 p.m. Eastern time, Feb. 21, in Room 202B. Christine Livingston, director of Perficient’s IBM Watson practice, and Liberty Holt, manager of predictive analytics at TriHealth, will discuss how the Cincinnati-based health system leveraged cognitive computing and Perficient’s Watson expertise to reduce hospital readmission rates. A solution that recently received an IBM Beacon Award.
