Perficient’s Milwaukee Office Goes to the Dogs

Dog lovers in our Milwaukee office recently came together in strong support of their four-legged friends.
Colleagues participated in the Wisconsin Humane Society’s annual Tails on the Trail fundraiser, a 5K run and 1-mile walk, and they raised $520. A large portion of the Humane Society’s annual fundraising comes from the event.
“The event itself was really fun,” said Phil Haas, organic search specialist with Perficient Digital in Milwaukee. “There were 1,640 people in attendance and over 1,000 dogs, so it was busy.”

“The walk and run were very enjoyable, the weather was really nice, and the vendors were plentiful. All in all, the Humane Society raised $200,000 before and during the fundraiser, so you can definitely call it a successful event.”
Before the Tails on the Trail event, several Humane Society volunteers brought some dogs to our Milwaukee office for friends and family to play with and to promote the fundraiser.
