Watsco Ventures, ComfortUp, Magento, and Preficient are sponsoring an eCommerce Hackathon to challenge teams of developers, designers and marketers to build a subscription service in less than 24 hours. The event will take place June 5 & 6 at the Watsco Ventures office in Coconut Grove, FL. Each team gets an instance of Magento Community Edition and a pre-paid Visa card to buy extensions. We are looking to be blown away with a working Magento eCommerce site plus a cool brand and marketing concept. The winning team will receive a $2,000 cash prize.
