After several unseasonably warm winters in Colorado, employees of Perficient’s Denver Office have nothing to complain about during a particularly harsh winter across the United States. Inclement weather can often be a consultant’s worst enemy, but since most of the Denver team is local they have been hitting the slopes!
Colorado has experienced record snowfalls along the I-70 corridor cluster of ski resorts. Just 90 minutes west of Denver, this cluster of resorts includes Winter Park, Loveland, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts.
Zane Stark & Austin Kaess are two of many Perficient employees who hold season passes to these resorts and frequently take long weekends or a weekday off to catch fresh powder. When working on traveling engagements, Perficient consultants usually return home Thursday evening and work remotely on Friday. During the winter months, working remotely on Friday often means working from a mountain condo to beat the crowds for first tracks Saturday morning.
Perficient embraces a work life balance, and the skiers of our Denver team have fully embraced this aspect of our culture.
