Anyone that knows me well has undoubtedly learned the following:
- I’m an e-patient advocate
- I’m proud of the fact that I’ve had an electronic health record since I was in grade school
- I’ve been blogging since before it was called blogging, but my passion for social goes well beyond my own addictions. I believe social can transform healthcare in remarkable ways
- I read a lot of healthcare news, and I like to converse about the interesting factoids I find daily. For instance, children with cancer that play the game ReMission have higher levels of chemo in their blood than children with cancer that haven’t played the game. This makes me wonder if similar gaming can work for other childhood conditions like asthma.
I was recently asked to give my opinion on a number of topics related to Connected Health. Knowing what you now know about me, I’m sure you realize just how much of a geekfest this was for me. Are you interested in Connected Health as well? Take a gander at the February Perficient Perspectives, and tell me what you think.
