I’m excited to introduce our moderator for our Wednesday SharePoint Women in Technology (SWIT) Panel at noon PST on Wednesday October 5th at the Perficient booth at the SharePoint Conference in Anaheim, CA. Please meet new Perficient colleague Marcy Kellar aka @marcykellar.
Marcy is a User Experience Professional who has worked with SharePoint for over six years. She specializes in SharePoint branding, information architecture, interaction design, intranet design, and usability. Her background is in life-sciences, medical device R&D, project management.
Marcy has created web and intranet experiences for Fortune 500 companies and startups. She lives in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana and is a Solution Architect at Perficient, a leading information technology consulting firm serving clients throughout North America.
Marcy is co-author of Beginning SharePoint Designer 2010 (Wrox, October 2010) and the popular SharePoint community blog, http://thesharepointmuse.com. She has taught “Intro to User Centered Design” and “Usability Testing” as a New Media professor at the Art Institute of Indianapolis. Marcy is passionate about teaching others about design strategy and how to use SharePoint to be an effective user-centered solution. She is a frequent speaker on Design and SharePoint topics.
She has one teenage son that drives her bonkers and her hobbies include photography, gardening and watching sci-fi shows.
