Meet #SharePoint Conference Panelist @miguelwood #spc11 #spcRockstars

I’m very excited to introduce a panelist for our Meet the Masters panel session at 3pm PST on Wednesday October 5th at the SharePoint Conference in Anaheim, California. Miguel Wood aka @miguelwood.
Miguel is a Principal and the National Practice Lead for SharePoint Solutions for Statera, a National Systems Integrator (NSI) partner of Microsoft.  He also serves as President and CEO of TekFocus, a minority-owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).  Miguel’s background includes consulting and mentoring organizations to better utilize technology to improve business processes.  Miguel holds numerous Microsoft and industry certifications, including being one of the first to earn the prestigious Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) for SharePoint 2010, of which there are only a few in the world.  He has had the opportunity to train Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and Product Support Specialist (PSS) roles within Microsoft around the world on various products and technologies in the Microsoft stack.  His areas of focus include SQL Server, .NET programming, Security, Windows Server, and, of course, all released versions of SharePoint.  He was also honored as the only non-Microsoft employee in North America authorized to teach both the IT Pro and Developer tracks of the SharePoint 2010 Ignite Tour, a pre-release, invitation-only training program held at regional Microsoft Technology Centers.  Prior to his current positions, Miguel worked as a consultant for Sapient Corporation.  He attended Louisiana State University (LSU), majoring in both Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering and is also a member of the Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity.   He has been stationed and travelled around the world while serving in the United States Army for over five years as an Airborne Infantryman.  He resides in Dallas with his wife and two sons.
