Indy Star Spotlights Perficient Technical Consultant’s Singing Talent

A lead technical consultant in our Indianapolis office recently caught the attention of the Indianapolis Star for his extraordinary vocal talent.
Eric Wickens, a classically trained singer, has worked for Perficient for two and a half years. Music has had a huge presence in his life since his youth, and he’s made some significant strides in the industry in recent years.
Eric has sung the national anthem at semi-pro baseball and hockey games, and at Indiana Pacers basketball games. He is a founding member of the Lyric Opera Theatre of Indiana and managing director of the vocal ensemble VOCE.
Eric talks about how he balances his day job in IT with singing opportunities, the obstacles he’s overcome to get to where he is today and more in the Indy Star’s Q&A: Eric Wickens: Coding by day, singing by night.
