On March 11, 2025, Perficient Bangalore came alive with the celebration of International Women’s Day and the festival of Holi. The office was filled with joy, laughter, decorations and vibrant colors, as employees gathered to honor and appreciate the incredible women in our organization while also enjoying the spirit of Holi.
Dress Code of the Day: Purple
The dress code for Women’s Day this year was purple, symbolizing dignity and justice. Women employees arrived dressed in purple outfits, adding a sense of unity to the celebration.
A Token of Appreciation
To show gratitude for the hard work and contributions of our female employees, our General Manager : Sumantra Nandi distributed thank-you cards ,roses and chocolates for each of them. This small gesture was a way to express our heartfelt appreciation and acknowledge the impact they have on the company’s success.
A Delightful Lunch
After distributing the tokens of appreciation, everyone gathered for a delicious lunch arranged at the office. It was a wonderful time for employees to bond and share a meal together, making the celebration even more special.
Fun Activities
To add excitement to the celebration, we organized three engaging activities for our employees:
1. Musical Chairs for Women
A classic game of musical chairs was held exclusively for women, bringing out their competitive spirit. Phulamani Behera was announced as the winner, receiving a special prize.
2. Tangle Draw – A Team Challenge
The next activity, Tangle Draw, was a unique team-based challenge open to all employees. Each team consisted of four members, and they had to hold their markers with ribbons attached and draw a given shape on paper without touching the marker. This activity tested teamwork, coordination, and creativity. After a thrilling competition, the winning team (Bijoy, Balaji, Isaac and Prakash) was awarded prize.
3. Kannada Quiz – A Fun Learning Experience
Another engaging activity was the Kannada Quiz, designed for participants of the Kannada learning program at the office. Employees answered questions about the language and received chocolates for correct answers. This interactive session encouraged learning and helped employees navigate daily necessities in the city.
Holi Celebration – A Splash of Colors
After a short break, it was time to dive into the Holi celebrations! The office turned into a colorful playground as employees applied natural, organic colors on each other, spreading happiness and warmth. Music and vibrant hues filled the air as everyone enjoyed the festival to the fullest.

This day was truly special, as we came together as one team, celebrating both Women’s Day and Holi with great enthusiasm. The event was a perfect blend of appreciation, fun, and cultural festivity, leaving everyone refreshed and filled with joy.
